DTF & Heat transfer vinyl
Many of our customers were seeking a lower cost alternative to embroidery without having to order large quantities of items. At MT Needles we are always trying to provide our customers with the latest technology available in garment decoration.
We have added Direct to Film (DTF) Printing to our available options for decorating garments. Direct-to-Film printing, also known as DTF printing, utilizes a garment printer to create film transfers which can then be applied to a large variety of substrates, including those that are traditionally challenging do decorate, such a polyester. Direct-to-film (DTF) printing is a heat-transfer based print process. The process begins by printing designs onto a transfer film, which is then covered with a thermo-adhesive powder and transferred with a heat press to the final substrate. DTF has a very soft feel similar to screen print and offers a full color option.
Another alternative to screen print for small quantities or specialized decoration, MT Needles offers heat transfer vinyl for decorating any type of garment. The technology of heat applied vinyl products has evolved tremendously over the years, and there are hundreds of different products available to customize your garments. We have traditional vinyl with a matte finish, textured vinyl such as our football, basketball and carbon fiber vinyl, and reflective vinyl for safety items, or just a cool option for your garments. Some of our most popular products are our heat applied glitter and our holographic and shiny foil products. We can take most any design and ramp it up with glitter and foil. For the customer who has a full color design, we also can print on vinyl. The best thing is, there is no extra cost for a full color logo. We also offer rhinestone designs for all types of apparel.
